Indeed it is! I just wish I had gotten around to cleaning the wool the last time he was sheared. It sat in our laundry room for ages and my parents threw it out. If only I hadn't procrastinated I'd have the most fluffy wool ever!
It's slow going. He's gotten accustomed to one corner of the pasture, and even chases the goats away when they get in there. I think he's just a little grouchy to them though. He had a halter on when we got him, and I think he didn't like it because yesterday we found that it had fallen down around his neck. We managed to lure him in a corner, and he would try to run from us, but once we got him there he was calm and let us pet him. I spent an hour or so sitting next to the fence and eventually he wasn't skirting around me. I think he's warming up.
